Birgit moved into the world of Hypnotherapy, Psychotherapy and NLP, leaving behind a career as a qualified accountant, where she has held senior positions as a Financial Controller of a hospital and as a Financial Manager in the corporate world. A financial background has been invaluable in the setting up of her hypnotherapy practice, skills that she shares with students at the RBCCH to help them launch into business.

With her own flourishing hypnotherapy practice in High Wycombe, Birgit is an international hypnotherapy teacher and a founder member of the Association for Professional Hypnosis and Psychotherapy (APHP), currently holding the position of Research and Development Officer on the APHP Committee.
